Bottom of the Mitten | The bottom line is that you have to want to quit and put in the required effort to make it happen. Just like anything else in life that you want to aquire or achieve. I was drinking a lot at one point and needed to quit, so I just quit cold turkey. The first couple days were rough, didn't sleep good, struggled through the day, etc. But no kidding after a couple days it was very controllable then shortly after I didn't even desire a drink. Reaching out for help is a good first step and there obviously groups in every area that are there to help. If you want the better life which you apparently do, put the effort in and stay committed and I think you'll find it easier than you thought. This is an interesting video and I'll try to post a link. If you don't know who he is you can Google him. There's videos of him at his worst too. This is mostly related to drugs but its the same thing.
