SW Ohio | Don't let speedqueen salesman talk you into the digital, yea the warranty is longer but the circuit board is fun to diagnose and replace just out of warranty..... new ones are a couple hundred bucks.
I prefer the 1995 or older washers with no lid lock, from marketplace etc.
Been getting by with basic mechanical whirlpool dryers, I've found that parts are relatively reasonable and simple, and there are diagnostic tutorials online.
