Quitting drinking is hard when times are good let alone when times are hard. You really need to at least reach out to a couple good friends and let them know you want to cut back and why. If they are good friends, they will support you and check in with you and hold you accountable. You can always reach out to local programs. Posting this question on here we both know it's time to get some help, going to bed at 2pm isn't doing you any good.

There's lots of good options for therapists to utilize too. In person, apps and phone calls. I battled years of depression brought on by a failed relationship during the covid era. I'm a big supporter of having an unbiased person to discuss personal topics with.

Stay busy, sitting at home alone with your thoughts can be a terrible thing.

If ever need someone to just talk to my email is in my profile.
