Postville Iowa | From 2010 until about 2014 Ziegler was great to work with Parts, sale, and service were great. One Sunday the store manager drove 6 hours to get me a part. Had 4 Clallengers, combine and heads, sprayer and planter thru Ziegler. Bought a brand new 765D from Ziegler. While under warranty both tracks the cables came thru tracks on inside. AGCO didn’t warranty it because they said with 25” tracks need wide mid rollers instead of medium. My argument was I bought it new from the lot that way and you still sell them that way, guess what they didn’t cover it. Bought a brand new 665C and that thing was the biggest piece of junk I ever owned. On top of my computer I have in big red letters, don’t buy anything from AGCO so I don’t forget. Then wanted to trade in back into Ziegler and they basically didn’t want it. I
In my area of NE Iowa at one time Ziegler Ag had a lot of equipment out, not so much anymore. When you have someone in Ziegler management sit in your office and lie to you, it doesn’t set well.
I’m not upset Ziegler no longer a Claas dealer. Altorfer way way way easier to deal with than Ziegler ever was. Had some dealings with Arnold’s and they did good. I’m staying with Claas I was just curious what other people thought.
