Wisconsin | Yes, they'll reuse the panels, either to extend, or put one up from scratch, or just use the panels for fence or whatever. If they're cutting it with a torch, it's typically to tip it over and then it's going to scrap. I don't know of any special torch or tip. I'd bet most guys use propane because most scrappers do, and a bigger tip than the material would indicate, like a 1 or even 2 tip for 1-2" max material thickness, because the glass on the cutting side will slow it down. Also cutting at an angle might help a lot to melt the material off the surface. | |
