| Maytag built by Whirlpool is junk, 10 year warrranty on drum, never have a claim the washer only lasts 4 years if you are lucky. Bought a A Speed Queen during Covid so far so good, had to replace the belt and they did it under warranty, but can't blame the washer as I think the better 1/2 may over load it a bit LOL. Ours does not have the gearbox though, but it is mechanical, not electronic controls, was the mid price range one at the time.
