Bunker Hill, IL | I’m building a CCS system on my 16-30 1770NT box planter using two Refuge tanks. I’ve got a CRARY FC6 blower coming.
1: I’m having a heck of a time finding the part number and/or nomenclature for the quick-connect flange that mounts to the seed hopper. See attached picture-I found a diagram but not the one that shows this part number. It’s the same fitting I see on planters for sale with CCS and boxes. But I can’t find it in the parts catalog.
I’d also like a fitting that has the option to attach a hose inside the box to reduce the seed pool if desired. Some that I have found have a square port inside the hopper which would not be conducive to this option.
2: How should I plumb and power the fan? I could run a separate pair to a remote and engage it whenever I want, set flow/tank pressure with the SCV. OR plumb it in with the planter lower circuit and run continuous down pressure. Or I could put it on power beyond, and engage with some sort of electrical valve tied to either a lift switch or something else. I’d also need a manual flow control in this case.
3: Does anyone have a pinout for powering the agitators? I’m assuming it requires 14V, but it has a 3-wire plug, and I don’t want to burn up a motor experimenting.
