Subject: Bulk Seed Tender Questions

Iowa - Floyd County
Looking at possibly getting my own seed tender and have some questions on bulk tenders. How hard is it to add a scale to one and how small of increments do they weigh out? 10lbs, 20lbs, more than that? Are there any other tenders besides Unverferth that can load themselves? Any brand to avoid? I'd be looking at "older" units, probably 15-20 years old, and something with a conveyor. Something like an Unverferth 2750 or a Convey-All 290? It will be used to fill our 24r22" box planter as well as tend cover crop seed to a drone and maybe a drill. I've used tenders from my seed dealer that have cup and brush augers and have also used a cousins Unverferth and there's no comparison in my opinion, conveyor is better hands down so that's what I'm looking for I think. Appreciate any thoughts.
