Latimer Iowa | Looking at forklifts for a warehouse only situation. Has to be electric, has to be new, and will load tote bags of food product onto semi trucks from a loading dock. The lift will never go outside and max weight of totes is 3000 lbs. we will be getting 2 lifts. I also want a lift manufactured in the United States.
Looking at 4000 lbs capacity lifts. There are lifts with a wheel in each corner or a center set of wheels in the back. What are pros and cons of each? Any reason not to get the center wheel as they are cheaper and more maneuverable? A new 4 wheel is 50,000 while a new “3” wheel is 45,000.
