bsfarms - 1/16/2026 17:49  While i agree to a point,Riverview is going to pay good or great rent,which the landowners/farmers will then spread out in the neighborhood.



Which encourages (or they even bring them in) out of area or out of state investors to own your local farmland.   Which means the land money leaves the community along with the profit from the dairy leaving the community.


There is NOTHING better about mega dairies (or anything else in agriculture) vs having many multiple smaller farms owned and operated by local families.

But like was already mentioned, that horse left the barn a long time ago with lackadaisical enforcement of immigration laws allowing mega farms to be built with and operated with cheap illegal labor.
