Thanks so much to all of you who have shared what works for you. I've learned some new things and I'm putting those into my daily plan.

Two common food items are really a problem aren't they. White bread and sweats. I knew both weren't so good for you, but I never realized how they can mess up your body almost like diabetes.

A simple things like plenty of water can make a big difference. Our family doesn't drink much aside from water milk and orange juice. I know that I don't drink enough water in a day and I'm trying to push it more.

It's fun watching the labels on food products to see what their calories are. I have noticed that you also need to look at the portion size. Marketing skills are in play here. Something might look like it has less calories than something else but, the portion size might be smaller. I try to focus on protein plus fruits and veggies. (not corn~~to high in calories)

These pounds didn't come on overnight and they won't leave overnight either. "Little by little" is my motto. Of course if more is shed, I'll take that too. :)

Enjoy this beautiful spring and stay safe on the farm. (After a long winter, everybody is ready for spring right?)
