picture wouldn't load as an edit, I'll try a different approach. The more I look at him the more I like him. He's got good feet, good legs and top line and building into a good disposition as I spend more time with him. He's also got his sire's excellent scrotal.

He'll be 9 months old next week.

In this picture you can see the difference between the woollier, darker color coats of the tested genetics compared to the older cow on the left side with other genetics. The tested animals get very woolly (and warm) in winter but slick up nicely to stay cool in the spring and summer.
