We've had a Speed Queen top load for a year and half and wife loves it.   We went the SQ route because local vet clinic has the same model bought a few years before we bought and they never have trouble with it.  Five vets plus assistants so you know it gets a workout.   Had an Ammana front load prior wife was never overly impressed with it.
