We always mix our chemicals instead of buying premixes. It's usually much cheaper to mix your own. And then you can use generics and make it way cheaper. Also easy to make blend to what you want. Maybe you want more or less of a certain chemical than what is in a premix. It's a little more work and handling more chemicals, but I do it to save $$$$$. Premixes are the easy button. Less figuring out amounts and handling. Dump in jug and done. More $$$$.

I had someone argue that it doesn't work as well if you make it yourself. I can't for the life of me understand that, but I had one that was so close in price this year I went for the premix. Even if they have a synergistic relationship, as long as they both end up in the spray solution I can't see how it makes any difference. That being said, I am not one to mix all my foods on my plate either, so that may have something to do with my opinion lol

I pulled the Valor out of my mix this year. Went with generic Boundary instead. We'll see how it works, hasn't been any Dual sprayed here for probably 20 years. I do have Sharpen on the list, but if weeds are small I might leave it out.
