Minnesota | The mini hopper for the seed meters changed about 2012. The later design had much less issues with plugging.
The frame and row units are the same on a 1250 vs 1255.
The CIH seed meters are OK....but, the precision planting meters are very nice if you can find a planter that has been upgraded.
We had Hyland Machining put new bushings in the parallel arms (1250 planter) last summer.....that really tightened up the row units. | |
