Trump does what is best for himself always. At times that may be good for producers, at times it may be bad. I dont think he is that hard to figure out. Its extreme narcissism.
You aren't wrong, you also aren't entirely correct imo. He is both narsisisstic and also wants what he sees as best for the country. He IS America first but also easily lured into the temptations of weak men to get off on his power and also to get revenge on his adversaries. He's such a mixed bag now. I think he "would" have been very good for our country had he been given a fair chance his first term. I blame the Dem party including the main stream media for the Covid lie which was used to do one thing...stop Trump policies and get rid of Trump. Desperate democrats (media) took things to a whole new level to try and take back their power and the effects are lasting. Attacks on Trump from the moment of his first win were relentless and it changed him and "his" people. He (and many "Trumpers") now fight back the way the democrats fight except he does it in the wide open! It's dirty. Now here we are, and it's unsettling. Politics is disgusting the world over. It's more visible in America these days. High level politics IS the pursuit of power. Power corrupts. Every time.
We will survive because of the kind of backbone people in this great country many of which are in ag and on this site. |
