Northern WI | I sell for Channel as well. I came here to say the same thing. Guys just have to look at finance options seed companies offer as a tool. And that tool may not fit everyone. But a good dealer will explain those differences. The 0% option can sometimes work out to be a wash, or a better deal depending on your operating loan interest rate. One thing I will say is, nothing is “free” in any industry. Amazon prime free shipping is not free. Someone pays for it somewhere. Same with a company offering 0% financing. Typically they are buying up that interest from an outside lender. If it’s an in house lender maybe they can be more flexible and get closer to that cash price. If someone is offering 0% at the cash price either their cash price is inflated, or the really want the business and are taking a hit on margin. | |
