East Central South Dakota		We have one nearby/ 4 of them within 45 min. The nearby one I do sell corn silage to. I also am part of the crew that cuts the silage. This was the first one in this area, and honestly I am not sure if anyone has much negative to say anymore, some people were unsure at first. They put every other dairy to shame around this area as far as cleanliness and professionalism. They are the only dairy I know of that does does dust control (calcium chloride and water depending on what road) during harvest. They also hire the roads regraded after harvest is done in a certain area. The Riverview Dairys have benefited our area around Lake Norden a lot. Many local companies do business with them. Is there downsides? I really don’t have any personally off the top of my head. If there is going to be a dairy near you, Riverview is the one you want hands down. They spend the money to do things right and want to be a good part of the community…. We have had top notch managers “here”. That could differ in other areas, I don’t know.
