Oil?

Yes it’s all about oil.

Rather than govt mandates which I don’t necessarily like are, to take a word from Navarros article, subject to whiplash and policy change based on the current party in power.

I think we need to better help modernize India and Africa and South America. And raise their standard of living to ours so their level of oil consumption rises and the cost of oil rises making it more economically viable to turn beans and corn into fuel

Govt mandates like this are a low iq solution. He can’t see the big picture and is throwing temporary fixes to a major econOmic problem that will probably work itself out.

The real issue going forward is big ag soaking up all the profits from American farmers because American farmers have not consolidated to a point of where they have any real bargaining power when it comes to inputs. Essentially that would take large scale corporation style operations to run massive acres regionally

Instead of being a farmer, most would work for the farm corporation. Although with the way inputs are now, that’s basically what it is anyway
