I was reading about fossil fuel companies in USA and it said they’ve taken on a mentality of “returning value to shareholders” rather than a “growth at all costs”
I think next time around we dont see the rapid expansion of production like during the shale boom. Mostly because there’s been a lot of consolidation within the industry and the above mentioned mentality.
Perhaps they’ve learned from opec
