Subject: RE: John Deere Rate Control Setup

May I ask why a RC2000? If you have it already I understand. But, all new harnessing and a new "old school" liquid rate controller can be had for around $2000-$2500 for a 3pt/pull type sprayer.

I'm not a fan of the RC2000's as Deere doesn't make or factory support them any more, some dealers do support them. And most all the harnessing needs to be custom made by AgExpress or if you can find it, crossed over from a Raven dealer. If you ever spill 28% on a harness and its shot, its going to be 1-4 weeks for another harness from AgExpress. With the Liquid RC's most dealers stock all the harnessing or it can be had from Deere depots overnight. Just speaking from experience on the 28%.

Any 2-wire/3-wire valves and raven flow meters are compatible with Deere rate controllers.
