This is where I’m at for herd, we make two 9x200 bags of corn silage, rest is hay. I’ve been slowly pulling ground out of hay production in favor of more silage. Figure I need the hay for a protein source. I have dumped DDGs on top of the silage in the bunks, but I worry that the smaller cows don’t get their share.
