With the current ag environment I’m sure we are all thinking about how to cut production costs.

In this area at one time seed costs were incredibly low because of public varieties and the ability to clean and plant your own seed. Chemicals many use generics, do not sure how toy save in that area. Fertilize is also difficult…

Have always been able to out yield poor prices but not so sure we can do that anymore…. What do you see on your operstion thst could be trimmed without going too far backward on production?


I should have been testing multiple hybrids by multiple competing companies during 2024 and 2025 esp. to see which ones compete and which ones fail. Minimize the “dogs” to 5 acres of failure vs a planter fill (assuming a planter fill is proportional to some semblance of a person’s acres).

Guess I’m starting in 2026……
