I remember a Sparboe Farms sign (2010s) in the HyVee egg section screaming bloody murder that $7 corn ie ethanol was supposedly driving up their cost of production "forcing them to raise the price of their eggs" yeah high priced fertilizer and seed gets us zero sympathy .. not that we have the ability to pass on our input costs. we`re price takers.
