NE Iowa | Seems to be a big misconception because I was told the same. I work at the coop and all our field boundaries and waterways are done with Deere RTK, but currently at my location we have both Deere and AGCO sprayers. I can load the boundaries into the AGCO machines and they aren't perfect, but for the most part they are good enough for a sprayer. Most are within a foot of accuracy although we have some random fields that are off more than that. Works fine for spraying through waterways, we haven't burned waterways more than one would if they got too close bordering one, but if we were trying to have sub-inch accuracy such as for planting into strips it wouldn't work. | |
