Latimer Iowa | We can store 37,000 gallons worth on the farm. Normally we run between 1/3 and 2/3 of capacity full depending on seasons and price. Just took a tanker load last week at we are full within 1000 gallons. Red, laid in was 2.06 a gallon.
Cheapest I have ever bought was $0.90 during Covid but right now my feeling is the upside risk is higher than the downside risk so we filled up. Historically a $2.06 price is pretty darn low. | |
