Subject: RE: Dehorning cow

Never had a problem dehorning or cutting with saw or wire when pregnant. Only reason to dehorn a mature cow is to keep for brood cow. If not ship to sale barn. It all starts with bull selection, buy proven polled bulls. Sure is a head scratcher to me, seeing people increase their work load and discount on calves. But to each their, I guess order buyers lives matter(OBLM). They live to buy cheaper calves.
