A scrap yard that pays cash? Around here the state sales tax people frown on cash payments and require scrap sellers to present a Driver's license w/photo ID. They added a new requirement that anyone selling copper scrap has to buy an annual permit ($200). I bet that new requirement has the meth heads quivering in their sandals.
Ours does, but still requires a DL. No idea on copper, haven’t sold any for a while.
