Not really interested in buying premade sections of continuous fence more so buying the pipe and doing it myself and building my own. Never been around it. Is it solid rod or pipe? Diameter? Do they make couplers? Is it what they call sucker pipe? How is it attached to posts? Not looking to do miles of it but got some areas where I crowd cows and want something solid.
Solid or pipe? Yes, it can be both.
Diameter? Pick any size.
The pre-made ones we bought had couplers that slip in the ends.
Sucker pipe? I assume you mean sucker rod. That is solid, about an inch or so in diameter, and surprisingly flexible.
How is it attached? Here with our pre-made when it is against wood it is screwed to it like conduit is on a power pole. When it is against 2 7/8 steel you go around it with a short string of chain, put a bolt through both ends of the chain, and tighten it with an impact until the impact quits turning.
Our pre-made continous is a really strange pipe size, about an inch, but pretty thin walls. The writing on the side just names a pressure specification for 300 psi. Then there is a 1/4 rod every 5 feet or so welded to each pipe to act as a stay.
