Last year we planted all our beans before we started corn 30 inch rows, 30 planted twice in a diamond pattern, 15 inch rows, and 7 inch rows. The drilled beans were seeded at 180 thousand the rest were at 140 thousand. Basically saw no difference in yield. Have heard if planting early (April) 30 inch rows do better if planting late drilled beans do better. I had the best beans I have ever had this year averaging 62 BPA. That may be because it was the earliest I have ever gotten them planted
