E.Central MN | As long as Trump thinks he can put a cap on credit card interest rates, demand investors buy up tons of mortgage bonds to lower rates for home buyers, and tell companies they have to reduce stock buybacks/dividends with their profits instead of investing them back into their businesses, then maybe he should tell his minions in Congress to look into setting a cap on the # of grain futures/options so that it more closely matches actual grain production. That would probably come back and bite grain producers in the backside, but it might be interesting to see the spectacle such an announcement would create. Or maybe we'll all get lucky (unlucky) and Trump's attack on the Fed will start a stock market collapse and investors will buy cheap grains as a hedge when nothing else is worth owning except gold.
