We have compared June planted beans behind wheat multiple times at 7.5", 15", and 30". There hasn't been much difference between 7.5 and 15, but 30's have typically been off around 5-10%. I would think that any spacing would be favorable if it allowed for earlier planting, at least in the absence of disease considerations.
