NW IL
We went from a JD7000 finger to white 8000 positive air. The basics were pretty similar. Check depth, closing wheels, etc. I feel like I do have to play with the air a bit to get top end singularity which can get annoying. There used to be a kit to be able to change pressure in the cab but they stopped selling those. (If anyone knows a place to get one let me know.)

Otherwise I like the fewer moving parts.

Ours is centerfill. A neighbor custom planted a field for us last year with his JD 1775NT centerfill and I noticed that the seed tubes were smaller than the ones on our white. I think we have 2in lines and his was probably 1.5in? He said he had to really keep seed lube in there, while I have never had any issues with plugging.
