The longer I soil sample and run recs the more I realize this when comparing sample points, fertilizer spread rates, and yields. Many times, our points with really high soil test values will be lower yielding because of imbalances. It's been much easier to just draw them down and let them naturally level out than try to level them out with commercial fertilizer. | |
