Western Oregon | I wouldn't have much of a retirement or money would be wasted, put into stamps. We bought 10 forever stamps when we moved when I retired at 55, used 3 then and used 4 more when I and wife went on S.S and Medicare, all the same year, she 62, me S.S and Medicare at 65, then she took Medicare at 65, 5 years ago. We don't need to mail anything, can't remember the last time we mailed, other than those, we have 3 stamps left. I just asked my wife and she reminded me that she did mail 3 Christmas cards this year from her stash of 8 forever stamps. Will be 2 next year as her uncle died in early December. She has 1 cousin still living and a friend from collage in Long Beach. I have 2 brothers but we/they have never done Christmas. Oh, I guess she will still have 3, as her brother just moved to Phoenix....James | |
