Mid MO | I'd like to take the horns off this cow. She beats the crap out of her pen mates.
If I saw them off, how long will it take them to heal over? The plan is to leave 2-3 inches of stub horn. What it the best way to hold her still? In the pic you can see where I put an elastrator band and electrical tape on. She rubbed the other side off already. That day, I used a lariat but I have a nose ring on the end of a rope if needed.
