First class letter "forever" stamps were first issued in 2007 with a cost of $0.41/stamp. Today a "forever" stamp costs $0.78/stamp...a $0.37/stamp gain since 2007.
A roll of 100 "forever" stamps cost $41.00 back in 2007. That same roll of "forever" stamps is worth $78.00 today...a gain of $37.00/roll...not too bad of an investment.
I wonder why most of us (including me) were complaining about the cost of "forever" stamps back in 2007 when we should have been investing in "forever" stamps to fund our retirement.....?
