West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | I'll assume that you did not forward contract all of your grain before you delivered off of the combine....so what was/is the no bin/sell off of the combine marketing strategy going forward???
I did the math...
River cash bid corn on 01/08/26 delivered 05/xx/ 2026 here was...$4.16/bushel.
River cash bid corn on 01/08/26 delivered 01/08/26 here was.........$3.91/bushel.
River cash bid corn on 10/13/25 delivered 10/13/25 here was..........$3.70/bushel.
River cash bid soybeans on 01/08/26 delivered 05/xx/2026 here was..$10.36/bushel.
River cash bid soybeans on 01/08/26 delivered 01/08/2026 here was...$9.96/bushel.
River cash bid soybeans on 10/13/25 delivered 10/13/2025 here was....$9.52/bushel
So a person got paid time/materials plus to NOT sit in a truck line at the elevator while the combine sat idle in the field again this fall...here.
