Our one son has a camper that weighs about 3100 lbs empty. He is looking for a good used pickup to pull it and drive to work which isn't over 10 miles. I have had pickups all my life but they are 3/4 tn when all he needs is a 1/2 tn. So open to any and all trucks, what would be ones to look at? Thanks.
I've personally been really happy with my Ram ecodiesel. It's quiet, great ride to it, and gets dang near 30mpg. 260K miles and still going strong. I've repaired a few wires, (snagged them in corn/cotton fields), replaced shocks, struts, control arms, etc at 200k miles (well past time). Replaced the fuel pump in tank twice.That's it.
Put a seat cover on it, uplhostery doesn't hold up to wear and tear. |
Best used pickup for pulling a camper.
