I think you are grabbing at straws there. No one "needs" tile to grow corn. It's a luxury in most cases.
Way too many areas that have 100 bu differences between their "dry land" and irrigated acres though.
In my mind that's no different than the government manipulating the weather. Might even be worse since you are taking water from areas that in general need it the most.


You serious Clark? I have acres, and can find thousands of acres by me that will grow shat if it wasn't for tile. That argument is preposterous. One could argue tile does damage too, I won't, but it could be made. (surface inlets)
