Yes, keep in mind that the 2800 model was introduced in the late 80s? Its light weight, shallow depth, we never cracked the frame on it though. A QX will definitely be heavier with all the framework for leveling, I'm sure they are the cats meow though for level seed bed, horsepower is probably rated at maximum speed/Depth as well
