We still run a 25’ 3900 with heavy rear mounted remlinger 5 bar spike harrow and 32’ 3950 with coil tine harrow - neither had any frame repair and 3900 is on its second set of blades …..
But I will say that one needs to keep an eye on the rock shaft bearing mount bolts - make sure they are not loose and rocking fore and aft ..
Very happy with both disk’s
Maybe we are harder on equipment but they’re all broke in exactly the same spot. Found these pics on a local auction company’s website. Ours looked similar but patched a lot nicer.
