I have a John Deere 8300 with the wheelman for steering only and just currently bought a 1250 CIH planter with a pro 700 to run the planter. Have also bought a used Gen 1 Precision 20/20 with sensors for seed tubes only. (Just monitoring Population)
- Can I run the Wheelman into the Pro 700 to run the planter shut offs without the nav controller ?
Would like signal into Pro 700 for mapping and row shutoffs if possible
I don't have the budget to trade tractors or add a branded GPS into my current tractor.
I have had the wheelman for 3 years and it works great for planting and was in my budget-- Maybe in 3 - 5 years I can upgrade tractors
Does the antenna have to have the Baud rate converted ?? This is something I have read about
