South Central Illinois
I feel that the necessary information for this report can be gleaned from the crop insurance division of the USDA. By now, there are enough yields reported to establish fairly viable yield trends, in my opinion. December 10th is the end of the insurance period. Any crop left standing in the field after that date must be appraised as is, unless an extension it to harvest is granted. Either way, harvested acres could still be derived from crop insurance.
