Ohio | My buddies dad just got a brand new ram with whatever towing package and he pulls what he typically pulled with his 3/4 ton diesel. Says he’s happy. Can be a little light at times. It has the air suspensions so he can pump up and not be squatting so bad. Rams also have big motors and and claim a lot of horsepower. In my experience, if he’s going to pull the camper very far or often, he will want a 3/4. I would really look at a ram if he wants a half ton. I can’t imagine pulling my camper with my wife’s Yukon with the 5.3 in it. Unless it was 20 miles away or something like that. | |
