You probably did NOT ask to upgrade. Microsoft just decided that you needed to upgrade and pushed it out to you. They're doing a lot of that lately. It began with Windows 10, then really took off with Windows 11.
I'm starting to spec a new desktop, but have been putting it off. At present, I use the Office suite, mapping software, and accounting software, all of which rely on a Windows OS. I can get by with Libre Office, I think. And I have the option to take my accounting to the cloud. That leaves SMS. Everything else would run fine on Linux (or Mac).
Sorry for the rant and no help. But all of us still using Windows are going to be seeing a LOT more of this nonsense. I'm almost ready to cut the cord to Microsoft. Help us out here, Ag Leader! If you can't, I'll find another way. But I'm fed up with Microsoft. | |
