more then likely you need to get new ones im a mechanic and have tried this alot and it never works id just go get new ones your gonna have alot better seal because exhuast clamps stretch. id alos take into consideration to not tighten the clamps alot make sure there just tight not over tight. you dont need to hold the impact on there for 30 seconds.
