Central Nebraska | The saga of putting a muffler on my truck continues and is reminding me of why I'm not a mechanic. I got the muffler fitted where I want it, got a new 90 degree elbow and 24" of flex pipe. I fit everything in nicely and have a little wiggle room with the flex pipe sliding over solid pipe on each end. I used the clamps that were on the old exhaust pipe and cannot get them tight on the solid pipe. Are they not reusable? Is there I trick I need to learn? |
