I would second the center pivot style, the side pull you have to go around and around the field, or have headlands like pulling a plow.
Think of it this way, you can pull a center pivot to just one side if you want, but you can never swing a side pull over to the other side, and IMO it is well worth it to be able to just go back and forth instead of around and around.
