Central IL | The randomness of the problem almost points toward the circuit card. Might get lucky and find a bad solder joint on the card. If the CCA is 250 and a new heater is 6-700 I would be putting up a new heater with backing of new parts and a warranty.
If the flame sensor was bad it should light and immediatly shut off the gas valve. If it was the ignitor the draft fan would run and do no more. | |
